it appears it’s trash burning day… after they went through all that trouble to dig up the grass and replace it with concrete there they are, burning the plastic bags full of trash in the grass… huh? the gardener type guy is doing it and mixing it around with a rake… it’s a pretty nice fire… probably warm… the kindergarden kids just got to school and as they stood and watched he tried to get them to go inside… but you know kids and fire… much too exciting… he walked towards them with the firey hot rake and said “ya!” which is meant to get attention quickly and usually has negative connotations (at least from what i’ve seen)… everything past the fire is fog… you can’t see very far today because of how thick the fog is… i like it… someone from my school picked me up yesterday and told me he would pick me up today at the same time… i guess i was a minute late because i got to the bus stop and didn’t see him… then he came walking from down the street… he got there before me and had waited down the street for me… really nice of him… i thanked him many times because it’s “chewah chewah” which i think means “cold!” and he said “kwenchanayo” which i’m pretty sure means “it’s ok”… lots of other things happened i’m sure but it’s too cold to type right now…
